Eléctricos de Guayanilla
As other towns looked towards cattle, coffee, sugar, or fruit as their sources of prosperity and power, Guayanilla sought to distinguish itself as a center for the experiments that would supply the island’s burgeoning need for electrification. This, perhaps, was a better idea than their more historical, if more macabre, association.
